How To Play Online Roulette
Roulette is probably the most popular form of casino game, with users having the chance of winning big for small stakes, as they try to predict which segment of a wheel the white ball will fall.
Played around the world for centuries, this game has a lure to it like no other, and you can enjoy the thrills and spills it brings right here at Las Vegas Casino.
Online Roulette Types
There are two types of roulette – American and European. The main difference is that the American version, the one predominantly seen in all the films, has two zeros which can change the dynamic of the game. The European version, the more traditional game if you like, has just the one zero which makes it often the more popular of the two styles for most players.

Rules of Roulette

The rules of the game are quite simple. You have to guess where the ball will end up after each spin and bet accordingly. If you guess correctly you win, but if you are wrong, the house will collect your stake.
To place a bet, select your stake and then hover your mouse or your finger over the respective spot on the roulette table that you wish you place your wager. To double your stake or more, keep pressing on the area of the table you want to bet on and the chips will appear where you place them.
There are a number of different types of bets when playing online roulette, each carrying different potential payoffs depending on the risk you are taking. Here is a guide to them:
Square: This is where you are placing your bet on a whole number, for example, 23. If the ball goes into 23 then you win but the other 36 slots mean you lose. A winning bet equates to a pay-out of 36:1
Split: You can hedge your bets slightly and bet on two numbers joined together on the table, for example, 8 & 9. If the ball drops into either of these you win and will be paid out at 18:1 so a £1 stake returns £19.
Street: You get the chance to bet on a street by placing your chip on the side of the table where you want them. You are betting on a trio, for example 4, 5 and 6 and get 12:1 if it wins. You can also bet on a double trio which would be 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 where the return comes down to 6:1.
Corner: Place your chip in the corner between four numbers to bet on those four outcomes. This could be 19, 20, 22 and 23 and if that lands you win 8:1.
Red or Black: This is a simple bet on the outcome being red or black. You are paid evens if you win.
Odd or Even: Much like red or black this is picking whether the number will be odd or even. Again this pays evens.
Dozens: You can pick from 1-12, 13-24 or 25-36 and if the ball lands in your area you collect to the tune of 2:1.
